I didn't see it that way....but perhaps whoever did the piece for the Moscow Times did. I was more intrigued by how they depicted ‘the Bear’ as angry and defensive from what it sees as a world against it. Which of course is what Putin has always felt, with a very few exceptional moments along the way.

Even so, it has been said that Hackers have been stating the media demand was to project an anti-Russia campaign. Also there was an article in one of our leading news organizations where they also stated Russia is consistently made out to be the bad guy in all it does. For me, I know who Putin is and what he's attempted to accomplish in Russia, as well the forces against him. He plays in a very violent neighborhood all around, within and without, and he certainly isn't slack in making moves of his own which are seen as unfavorable to the rest of the world. But I figure they don't live in his neighborhood.

I remember how Bush was called a "Cowboy" and the liberal media tore into him for the vocabulary he used after 9/11. I was livid about that because it shouldn't have mattered what the liberals thought...rather did Osama and Alqueda understand Bush....and clearly they knew exactly what Bush was saying and meant.

I think this also applies to Putin more often than not. He's a hoodish guy living in a hoodish neighborhood attempting to bring Russia away from it's Communistic past, while still maintaining it's national identity, and at the same time introducing certain freedoms he believes are beneficial to the Russian people..and these will not be according to what our freedoms might be...the culture has only been recovering for 15 years since it's collapse, to introduce too quickly would mean chaos....IMO Putin's brought it further than any other has in the past...and obvious the majority of the people support him on the whole.

As for those who think Jewish people control the world...well they're going to think that anyway and regardless of any facts contrary,...and regardless of anything Israel may do or doesn't do. Just like there isn't anything at all that Obama can do that will make me loathe him any less for what he's done to this country ........We all have those we detest and feel justified in doing so....but of course concerning Obama and this administration... I'm right.

Comment below from another forum. I hadn't thought too much about what happened after the collapse of the USSR. This was a country with nukes that collapsed. I post this more out of interest than any admiration for the KGB / Russia /USSR.

"Most people do not know that in the USSR, the best and brightest went into KGB. The Communist Party was more subject to KGB than otherwise. The decision to fold the USSR and give up their empire without a shot being fired was an inhouse decision by the KGB leaders, as they were the only ones with the real information and numbers that showed them collapse was only months away. A surrender of epic scale, never repeated in history went off without a shot, only the KGB and other security organs of the USSR had power to end the communist rule and the empire."

The KGB is probably learning much from our NSA.
