ROCKUMENTARY: APRIL 5, 1970Where were you? I was in the fourth year of a five year chemistry program at a little engineering college in Philadelphia and getting ready for ROTC summer camp.
So what were you up to?
Cue the Rockumentary theme!

Good evening, Maestro!
4 April 1970 I was recently returned to full duty after several months in hospital, on convalescent leave, and on light duty. A little over a year later I resumed civilian life and returned to Univeristy, where I kicked serious ass!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

My little sister had a crush on Bobby Sherman.
I was in my first year of college and was into the Stones, Zappa, and Russian Folk Music.
I actually got a gig playing guitar and singing in costume in a Russian Restaurant.
I taught myself the language in order to sing the songs.
