I'll tell you why. I work on the North side of Pittsburgh. The "hood" is behind the facility where our shop is located.
Part of my and my fellow workers job is to test drive the vehicles after we finish working on them. We have been stopped by the hoodrats and asked "What you doin back here white boy? You don't belong here."
This has also happened to myself and my brother in McKeesport's solid black neighborhoods. One went so far as to show his gun to my brother.
Some of the homies feel that the streets are theirs and you are trespassing. If something happens, you deserve an ass kicking because you don't belong there.
I'm sure you've heard of areas where the police won't go except with a large presence.
But this is just “all wrong” when we don’t want the black dysfunction in our neighborhoods and schools. It’s all right for them to have dangerous “no-go” areas for whites.
