Ok, without having watched the video, I think the child was coached to step out in front of him based on who he “was” or “represented” to in order to set up the whole incident.

That thought crossed my mind. Especially when it was mentioned that the event was videotaped.
The existence of a video of the entire incident, even showing the child stepping out, begs the question the police and media probably will not ask: why was video being shot BEFOREHAND? Unless there is a very good answer, the person shooting the video knew something was about to happen.
Smells like the kid was told to step out in front of the next honkey, to make him stop so the mob could attack.
Why would anyone drive through these crime zones?
