And since it's now open season on YT, no license required (per Holder's “my peeps” rule), I am following Derbyshire Rules about being a good samaritan of it's a black person. Let them call 911 on their Obamaphones. I have read enough stories of well-meaning white women who went to the aid (even in small ways, of allowing them to follow her through a security door to “save them trouble” and then getting kidnapped, raped, or even tortured/murdered for their good intentions. I won't be a victim, especially of some horrific crime I could have prevented if I hadn't been more afraid of “offending” someone.

I probably wouldn’t have stopped in this case without finding a cop first. However I wouldn’t have been in that neighborhood unescorted in the first place. I also wouldn’t be there without a gun.

Situational awareness is everything.
