Hillary Rodham Clinton said Thursday night that excessive partisanship flowing through the nation's political system is causing the U.S. to march "backwards instead of forward" and pointed to fall elections as a sign of how the country might tackle problems.
The former secretary of state reflected on her time at the State Department, the U.S. relationship with Russia and the advice she gives to young women during her appearance at the annual Women in the World summit. But when the moderator asked her to address the nation's future, Clinton cited the need to "get back to evidence-based decision-making.

I’ve heard Hillary schreech that quote many times.
What gets me about it is that, Hillary sets up that straw man, and knocks it down. I never heard anyone say that if you opposed the policies of Bush that somehow you weren’t patriotic. Yet that became a liberal meme during the Bush years, that somehow opposition was unpatriotic.
Conservatives never said liberals were unpatriotic. Liberals said that conservatives said it, when they never actually said it.
Of course we know that Hillary is an Alinskyite, and Alinskyites reserve the right to lie and cheat and do God knows what, if done in pursuit of liberal goals.
as they say in the hood..
“WOOPS THERE IT IS!”
that looks like evidence that demands a verdict!
So “Vast right wing conspiracy” Hillary wants partisanship to go away?
Sounds like she’s trying to move to the middle. She learned it from the best.
And to think people pay money, well into six figures, to hear this harridan ramble on about nothing coherent. Nice work if you can get it.
Go Jeb. Just shoot me now.
What difference does it make?
Don't waste your vote on an illusion.
If Jeb is the Pubbie, he will be tasked with losing to Hillary, just as McCain was told to lose to Obama.
Just remember what Jeb did to Terri Schiavo.
He follows orders - no matter what.
Meanwhile because of their policies that they push on us we have to work harder for less of everything.
They bitch about things that they create and then they say we need to solve these problems. Many of my problems would be solved if they would just mind their own business and live their own lives as they see fit and allow me to do the same.
bkmk
Here here. That is it, in a nut shell. If the government would just get the F out of our lives, we would all be better off. I don't bother them, I don't want them bothering me.
The woman who decried the vast right wing conspiracy now wants to be nonpartisan? Riiiiiight.
It’s “partisanship” when good people stand up against evil, but “dissent is patriotic” when communists protest decent policies. America’s enemies never argue the merits of their case, they just redefine words or claim that the debate is over.
I wonder what Hillary means when she claims that the U. S. is marching backwards instead of forward?
Are the Democrats taking our country forward? Forward to what? Higher taxes? Repressive regulation? Economic collapse? Hollowed out military? Cultural degradation? Socialism?
Does Mrs. Clinton believe that our country has to be more like Cuba, Venezuela, or the EU? Is she willing to step up and admit her bloody role in Benghazi? Is that how the country should be run -- by directing the IRS, EPA, DoJ and other government agencies to focus their powers on her political enemies, Republicans and people like you?
Banghazi is to Mrs Clinton as Krypotonite was to Superman...
