My better half just downloaded it. Says it’s fast. What about privacy/history?
It’s pretty granular. Click the opera logo in the top-left, Settings -> Preferences or Quick Preferences and there are several things you can set. You can shut off cookies and referrers, for example. Caveat: I use the older, v12 one so the interface might have changed since.
