Paul Ryan is dropping in likeability as he falls asleep at the wheel in Washington DC and proposes a crappy budget that increases spending yet again far from demonstrating any responsibility in governing.
Its so bad that Sarah Palin ranted about it on her Facebook page yesterday.

Accountants seem to have a way of twisting numbers around to make things come out, or appear to smelling rosy. Not being an account myself, he has not demonstrated to me that his plan would work. Back to the drawing board there Paul.......
I’m sure that Mr. Ryan’s budget is just peachy with the GOPe. He’s one of them.
>> Sarah Palin: Paul Ryans Well Increase Spending Now, Cut Spending Later Budget Is A Joke
YES!
I think Paul Ryan is good and I don’t think he’s “one of them”. The guys got great ideas and if you hold out to until you get EVERYTHING you want you’ll never get ANYTHING you want.
I’m hard a core constitutional conservative but I also realize to get to where you need to be you have to take small steps to get there. The uneducated voters won’t go for massive changes to the right like they did for the entitlement left. You have to ease them into it or you’ll never see “good” change.
Kudos to Sarah barracuda. This is the same old shuck and jive. Congress never gets around to the promised spending cuts
We also George H W bush v/s George Mitchell. Read my lips!
I really wish instead of going, with her family, in the reality-TV direction, she had gone all wonk for a few years and were a candidate for 2016.
And this is the guy Whackjob chose as his running mate to appear more conservative? Boy, Obama’s bad, but we dodged a bullet there. Seriously. Another “compassionate conservative” administration right after Bush would have doomed all stripes of conservatism - authoritarian, moralist, and libertarian - to the dust bin for decades.
Sorry, but I disagree. Has every body forgotten Calvin Coolidge? This is what his administration did, in the 1920’s. Immediately upon being sworn in, his administration cut government spending 50%, and also cut taxes 50%. Oh, there was government consternation for a year. Then the economy took of like a rocket ship. That was the largest growth we’ve ever had. Now, I realize that we owe 17 trillion dollars, and it must be paid. So here is my suggestion: Yes, cut government spending 50%. We can eliminate 3/4 of all our Alphabet Govt. Agencies. That alone will save us about a trillion dollars a year. By cutting taxes, we would actually get more money for the government. And, most important, start utilizing all our sources of energy. We could be the world’s largest exporter of energy. Within 5 to 6 years, we would be the world’s largest lender, and we’ll have everyone paid off, and we’ll have money in the bank.
Sarah is right on this one!
It is simply a gutless political attempt to avoid making the hard decisions now.
Everyone knows that the Ryan budget is a joke. I’d like to see Palin develop her own budget to show the establishment how fiscal responsibility can be achieved, and more quickly than Ryan is proposing.
This will get as many votes as Obama’s budgets.
Glad to hear you are hard core. So what hard core conservative principle has Paul Ryan stood for recently?
Congress is like Calvin of the old cartoon strip ‘Calvin and Hobbes’.
Calvin always puts off doing his homework because he would rather play with Hobbes, rationalizing that ‘future Calvin’ will handle it.
The problem with that thinking is that ‘future Calvin’ always comes to think he’s present Calvin.
And life isn’t a cartoon, even if Congress acts like childish clowns.
It’s the same old “If you give me a hamburger today, I’ll gladly pay you tomorrow” budget.
At least Joseph Stalin had Five Year Plans whose goals were never met.
Ryan bandies about his mythological concept that the budget will somehow be balanced ten years down the road.
HOW ABOUT BALANCING THE BUDGET NOW AND GETTING THIS NATIONS FISCAL HOUSE IN ORDER???????
But the creditors prefer the slow drip of budget cuts here and there along with higher taxes, so the politicians like Ryan follow the big money campaign contributors instead of taking principled action to get federal government living within its means.
Its time for the nation to take its medicine.
BALANCE THE BUDGET NOW!!!!
Let the Left whine, moan and get violent. They will totally discredit their cause like the union thugs did getting in Scott Walker’s face in Wisconsin.
Coolidge had to get there before he could start cutting taxes and spending and he didn’t run on cutting spending by 50% and taxes by 50%. He got there by being likeable, and running against the opposition.
I agree we can probably cut 1/2 of government but you have to get there to do so.
And anyone who wants to actually cut spending, even if its only by 5%, is an “extreme conservative” and a racist to boot.
Seriously, any household going through a recession could find a way to cut its budget by 5%, 10% perhaps even 25%. The United States? Forget it.
