Which is also exactly applicable to the brass that surrendered to Obama’s edict. Because, they did. Doesn’t matter why someone surrenders in the end, just that they did. Likewise for the people out here who surrender their ethics and morality rather than fight for them. Doesn’t matter why they refused to defend their beliefs...just that they did.

History often remembers it’s Chamberlins.

That is a bit of an insult to Chamberlain.

He DIDN'T surrender his ethics. He was part of a generation that had grown to view war as the worst possible thing. His stand made sense to him, and he knew it was going to have consequences.

He was wrong, but he did make his stand.
