“Anxiety and PTSD doesn’t always come from combat.”
I’m an RN and am not stupid. My comment was for those who have said that he had a combat related injury and that the military ignores those who need help.
I watched a guy I knew back in 1979 go from a high evals E-4 sailor to an E-1 in less than a year. Why? Looking back he was likely Bipolar. He'd told me about his older brother who had killed himself He got no help. A few lifers did get their daily jollies tormenting him so they could write him up. BTW PTSD is an injury in every real sense. They may have tried to help the guy at Ft Hood but let me ask you this. Ever seen Serotonin Syndrome develop after a person is given antidepressants?
