This is anecdotal -sometimes I really think it’s over.

Now I live in Upstate NY mind you and the crowd I’m talking about is very blue collar and Democrat. Anyway...I stopped at the VFW and asked a simple question and there was four people in the bar. I asked exactly: “Could you put CNN or FOX on one of the TV’s?” (An outrageous demand.). A guy flipped out and said: “If you put on FOX I will have to leave.” I’m thinking OK this is a crack pot. But then the bartender chimes in and says: “I can’t put on FOX!” (WTF?)

Mind you, this place is starving for members, aging in member and on deaths door financially.

I often think about people in thier 20’s, they aren’t to members. There average healthcare cost is about $750 per year, but they are not stupid enough to buy an Obamacare policy that starts at $2,100 per year. Yah, these young people want to party with these old farts that won’t put on FOX and they want to pay triple for healthcare above their need.

The VFW Post is gonna die, under these circumstances who will miss it?!?
