Eight people have been injured, four critically, after a shooting at the Fort Hood Army post Wednesday afternoon, officials said. The shooter is dead and the Texas post remains on lockdown.
Officials are still searching and clearing buildings at the post, but a military official told NBC News that the deceased shooter appears to be the only shooter.

The ABSURDITY of an DISARMED MILIATARY cant be allowed to coninue. I believe that there are some at the top of the chain of command who find amusement in that very absurdity.
Incidents like this gladden their hearts.
They can use this to further tighten the screws on legal gun ownership.

Reports have said that the shooter was driving a gray Toyota, described as a white male in an Army Combat Uniform, and carrying a .45 handgun.
Lopez is evidently White Hispanic!
