It seems to me that if Cruz had said anything clear on illegals, someone would have posted it on this thread by now.
Maybe Ann’s accusation will prompt him to make his views explicit on this defining issue.

She is right about Cruz.I’ve been searching and just found this article quoting Cruz saying that illegals currently here can stay and work but not become citizens. Ann is right about him (Rand Paul has the same disastrous plan)

Well, we can look at the five amendments Cruz offered in the Judiciary Committee last spring with regard to the Gang of Eight plan. Look at what he actually proposed:
1) A three year waiting period during which security would be increased, before any illegal alien could apply for legal status. The number of Border Patrol agents would have been tripled and their resources quadrupled.
2) Increase the number of high-skilled temp workers allowed legally into the United States each year.
Increase the total number of immigrants allowed legally into the United States each year.
4) Cruz's fourth amendment said no person who has previously been willfully present in the United States while not in lawful status shall be eligible for United States citizenship.
5) Cruz's final amendment said that aliens who have entered or remained present in the United States while not in lawful status shall not be eligible for means-tested benefits.
