Ann Coulter says... "Cruz is a disaster on illegal immigration."Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
She was once the go-to girl, sharp, witty, and could draw blood in an instant. Now, if I never hear her name again, it will be too soon. It is so sad to see someone with the power she had drop so far down. SHe has totally lost any common sense. It is embarrassing to even read the headlines any more. Dear God! I know the Bible says that in the end, people will not tolerate the truth any longer, but I just assumed that meant Biblical Truth, not everyday political stuff. But I guess that once you take that wrong path, it affects everything.
Romney’s plan was to make it illegal to hire anyone here illegally. Consequently, without work, they would self deport.
Ted Cruz wants to allows illegals currently here to stay and work, and actually double the amount of green cards issued. So there will be twice as many here if Cruz gets his way...sucking from the public, having anchor babies WHO WILL EVENTUALLY VOTE.
Which is the better of the two?
Giving green cards, means they get to stay (forever). That's the definition of Amnesty.
What better way to encourage more illegal immigration than to reward the current batch of invaders? Twenty years later the next illegal batch former-Senator Cruz (Hispanic Texas won't be reelecting Republicans) will want to amnesty will be even larger.
She says what she wants in order to make headlines and stay n the news.
Time to focus on those that really count.
“What is wrong with her?”
She’s a Yankee elitist.
We need workers

I didn’t know we were at 100% employment. And the jobs they get pay next to nothing. So where do you think the rest of the money they live on comes from? ( got a mirror)?
Do those things and illegal aliens will deport themselves and pay for the trip.
There is the plan.
Ann Coulter should wear an electric collar and only talk about Democrats.
As soon as Coulter mentions Republicans she should receive an electric jolt.
I think that in the 2016 GOP primary, someone will stake out the conservative “enforcement-only” position on immigration. There are a lot of primary votes to be found there. I just hope it’s someone who can actually win the nomination- and the general.
I have posted this before. In short Ann has been told what will happen if she doesn't shut her snarky mouth up about the ‘good and the great’ who run the GOP. She really doesn't want a lot of sex tapes aired on Youtube and various other indiscretions appearing on the front page of the Compost.
Mitt lost to JOHN MCCAIN, despite having the establishment behind him.
Mitt lost to OBAMA despite the economy.
No to Mitt. No to any Bush, as that damn family gave us Clinton and Obama.
Ann is wrong
10-4 on that one.
Is she still relevant?
Sad commentary, but possibly true. As Chris Christie is too severely damaged to regain any momentum in this cycle, go to #2 on the list, who (surprise!) has no discernible Conservative credentials.
Mitt Romney is no doubt a very good man, in all respects just the kind of person who is what is known as “pillar of the community”, circumspect and devoted to family, and a highly successful businessman to boot. And all this in spite of the whispering campaign run against him by a “fellow” Mormon, Harry Reid. But he is no conservative, and in fact, in the instance of Obamacare, elsewhere known as the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010”, his instincts would be to mend it, not end it.
Obamacare is a bigger disaster for the nation as a whole than even the adoption of the 18th Amendment, which introduced Prohibition as a national policy. And even though Prohibition was once “the law of the land”, it WAS repealed, a fact that seems to be lost on many who consider themselves to “moderates”, occupying some mushy-headed position they consider to be “the middle”. Some things, you just cannot split the difference on, and compulsory national health services delivery services is one of them.
Whether Romney, were he the nominee, should manage to be elected or not, the conservative base would not be served either way. Because whoever the Democrats put up (and Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, is no sure bet at this point), would be adamant about not changing Obamacare except by executive fiat, being unwilling to submit the current law to ANY legislative review, further skewing the unconstitutional nature of how that law is now administered.
Throw her in the can with Karl Rove and jeb bush
Maybe she’s back with Bill Maher.
Cruz wants current illegals to stay and he wants to double the amount of green cards. She is right about him (and Rand Paul) for that matter)
Ted Cruz wife is VP of Goldman Sachs. I’m guessing Goldman Sachs would love more cheap, immigrant labor living off a welfare system funded by middle America.
