Why do they act as if deportation is physically impossible? Eisenhower managed it back in the Fifties. Mexico still does it.

Paul came out for gay marriage, what he should say is that as a Senator voting on federal laws, and as a candidate to be the most important head of the federal government, that he will fight to outlaw it at the federal level.

DOMA was meant to do that and it got struck down. I’m not sure what else you’d want.
He would do far better to advocate that the government should not be social engineering, which “gay marriage” is in spades.

So, the Republican Party needs to just stand for everything and nothing, and we’ll get everybody’s vote! What a deal!

Paul opposed DOMA.
Paul is running for federal office, he needs to want to make it against the law and policy at the federal level, goals that you oppose, as does he, as do libertarians.

Back when it was proposed. Paul was a dissenter in a lot of things. But look what he said about Kentucky. Uncle Sam should not force it on Kentucky.

Paul came out for gay marriage and against the GOP platform and for moving the party left, as shown in post 47.
Positions that you share with him as a fellow libertarian, the difference between you and him, is that you also oppose pro-life legislation, and mock the pro-life movement.
To date, Paul still has not reneged on his pro-life position.

Again, you are saying that because I believe in going on the street, that I want muggings. No, we should be safe inside ansel12’s little jails.

You didn’t know that Paul opposed DOMA, when you attempted to use that as cover for his pro-gay marriage position?

Also you misread 47, but that isn’t surprising; you misread most things to try to fit everything in your little box.

That is no argument for having gay marriage in the military and in federal employment and immigration.
