If I could go back and change something, I would take the money I wasted on my business degree and would have purchased gold, silver, and various long term foods. I graduated high school in 1997, my degree and associated costs with interest were around 55k.

Silver was about $5/oz
Gold was around $350/oz

Your job interview Q&A is flawed.

The corrected Q&A for the job interview is:

Q: Can you flip burgers?

A: Uh, well, not alone.

Q: What do you mean, not alone?

A: Well, man, I need help. Don't yah like know that no one does nothing by hisself? Q: What? A: Yeah, man, Together We Can. Interviewer: We will call you if we need you. Job Applicant leaves. Interviewer to no one in particular: Can I program my smart phone to block his phone number both inward and outward?

A 2006 study showed that 5% of recent college graduates are functionally illiterate.

Well, at least they are getting jobs...

Which of course is why they are starting to organize and agitate for a “living wage”.

Like the guy Michael Medved had on his show who had a degree from an Ivy League school but worked at Starbucks. He was busy trying to organize the baristas, not out looking for a real job.

Has to be far more than that. Just has to be. The criteria compared to is definitely not from the 60’s and 70’s, which would prolly make closer to 30-40%.

A degree in White Privilege and Queer Theory is not especially in demand on the job market
