There have been single shot multiple kills by US snipers in Afghanistan as well. With a .50 shell you don’t aim for the jihadi you aims for the rock he and his jihadi buddies are all hiding behind.

There was video of one of these kills out on YouTube at one point. Small boulder explodes from the kinetic force of the impact, jihadi body parts can be seen flying away from the impact site.

An internet video I saw several years ago similar to what you write about was purported to be long range sniping of Taliban by Canadians, but in fact was a hoax. It was actually ground hogs being killed in Colorado. Body parts could be seen flying through the air, etc.
