I love her. I admire her. I wish I were more like her. Failing that, I wish my daughter will become more like her.
That said, I would really rather see Ted Cruz as president. He is authoritative and would command international respect (or fear) immediately; a woman, no matter how admirable, would have to prove herself to the misogynists. That takes time.
It would be wonderful if President Cruz, the first Hispanic president, would appoint Governor Palin as Secretary of State. This would be immensely valuable to her formation. She has many years in which she could be president, later.
Palin stared down international oil company execs. And won.
Palin took international oil execs to court. And won.
Palin sued the W. Bush administration. And won.
So.
Palin has proven authoritative bona fides. And if there are international misogynists, let them try to tangle with Palin once. They won’t again.
Cruz is younger than Palin.
Cruz has less governing experience.
Cruz has virtually no executive experience.
All the facts point to Palin for president first, appointing Cruz to a Cabinet position. Or championing him to be Senate Majority Leader.
And yet you posit the younger man with less experience should be president first, and appoint the woman to serve on his cabinet.
Could it possibly be you who are the misogynist?
