It could be that there are different "figures of merit" for evaluating Nurture. (some of which would be more explanatory - tough perhaps also Inconvenient, in a PC sense)

The alternative explanation would definitely seem to be an "Inconvenient" (tragic and politically incorrect) Truth.

I really believe that the alternative explanation is the truth, however inconvenient it may be to someone, and all the dysfunction in our society is only going to get worse until a majority face that truth, however unfortunate it may be.

It's also unfortunate for us that many sharks can chomp your azz, but you face reality and don't swim in the midst of them. You certainly don't try to teach them calculus.
