The level of influence and power these people have, including over the Internet is disturbing.
Beyond that, they clearly understand and are frightened themselves by the power of the Internet.
We’ve known for years they very much control and censor television as a matter of routine for their own propaganda.
Now it’s the Internet too.
I think Yee’s fellow Senators in CA, Feinstein, Boxer, and Democratic House Minority Leader Pelosi out of San Francisco, should be required to reveal who did this for them and how much was paid to have it done.
If fact, why would they be informed of a serious criminal investigation prior to the arrest then offered favors to omit all photos of them with Yee across the entire Web?
Or was this done without their knowledge by their own insiders? Or was it done by those who now expect favors?
Mmmmm.......that’s the beauty of the i-net. Somewhere, somebody’s got pics-—and they will surface.
Besides, we (and the FBI) have plenty of other damning evidence.
First of all, they're not "fellow Senators" any more than your own local State Senator is a "fellow Senator of Teddy Kennedy" or of the "Washington Senators". They're just fellow sleazy democRAT politicians who happen to originally be from the same state. (I use "originally" in reference to those who are now virtually residents of DC).
I would expect that Yee spends most of his political schmoozing time with other CA Statehouse types and occasionally with Guv Moonbeam, given the fact those two groups work together on a daily basis. And in election years with County-level party events, to press the flesh and help guard against primary challengers.
If he's been a really long-term Dem politico in the SF area either at the Statehouse or County or City Council levels, who many years ago rubbed shoulders with Pelosi & Feinswine when they were still working their way up the ladders of power, than there should be photos of him with Feinswine & Pelosi from way back when.
But Pelosi/Feinswine/Boxer have long been DC-centered, so socializing with CA statehouse people is a far rarer event these days.
What you might want to do is, google/wiki the early political careers of Yee, Pelosi and Feinswine (Boxer is LA-based, isn't she?). Then compare the timelines to see who was in which political office and when. Then instead of just googling their names together, google the particular government organization they were in together at that time (if there are any), and perhaps throw the date range into the search parameters as well.
Any events before the late-90s likely won't have googlible photos since nobody was posting digital photos on the internet until the WWW started to really take off. So the only photos you're likely to find online would be included within full-page newspaper scans on archive sites - many of which are not free to browse.
