EPA has also outlawed most existing wood stoves. Time to start building rocket stove mass heaters.
(Very little exhaust, and horizontal, and uses a lot less wood, so the snitches and Watching Eyes will have a harder time catching you.)
This winter wasn't a one-off. If the farmers see that they can get shekels from the government for "growing ethanol corn" into February in Iowa, Minnesota & Michigan, they darn well will do it again in 2014.
The government & the EPA didn't get any on them for this bullsqueeze. Instead, they danced away laughing while the peasants paid 6 bucks a gallon for propane in January.
Oh, and don't forget to pay that extra $200 a month for increased healthcare costs. And the $250 for a new lawnmower, because your engine is trashed.

I agree. The press got this commie elected and commies don’t like probes and questions. The press has been on their knees for BO for years now. They are so stupid that they are just now figuring out how Marxists operate. Serves them right.

You know, unless the reporter actually assaulted or impeded this personMaybe they felt assaulted or impeded. Or felt in fear of their life or something.

Still don’t know the question the reporter was trying to ask...you’d think that would be an important element to this story.

The question may have been along the lines of “Why aren’t you in prison?”

It has always baffled me that the press is so lock step in their gutless pandering to BO and Dems. Forget honor and integrity. I would have thought that mere ambition would have driven someone to dig a little deeper, to say something different just for the distinction of saying something different.

Yes, but they are mandating that refiners now blend in stem cells, in place of the ethanol.

I learned about ROCKET STOVES on the internet, and since I had the components, I built one.
It is so awesome. I have collected sticks from the yard to keep as feedstock, should I need to use the rocket stove for cooking or heat.

If I ask an unelected official a question on the street... I hope my Free Republic press credentials are “adequate” enough for the goon squad.

Thanks for the link. I just changed out my 30-year-old basement wood furnace for a newer more efficient stove. But I'm going to check out this rocket stove.
