I know that Trayvon Martin's cousin, Stephen Martin, tweeted "yu ain't tell me yu swung on a bus driver" to Martin on February 21, 2012. I've seen a screen capture of the tweet.
I followed the case closely.
To my knowledge, Stephen Martin's tweet is the only reference anywhere, any time, by anyone, to Trayvon Martin fighting or 'swinging on' a bus driver. To my knowledge, no suspension from school has been linked to Trayvon striking a bus driver; instead, there's been speculation. To my knowledge, no response from Trayvon to his cousin's tweet has been reported. To my knowledge, no conversation by Trayvon about a fight with the bus driver was ever reported.
From Joseph Martin's tweet, I believe Trayvon Martin very, very probably "swung on" a bus driver.
If there is evidence that Trayvon was suspended for that, and particularly if there is a conversation involving Trayvon discussing the incident, I would greatly appreciate it if you or someone else would point me to the source.
I followed the case extremely closely. My memory, going back two years now, is that he was suspended for fighting with the school bus driver. He also Tweeted about it himself.
