After enduring months of homophobic attacks, including gunfire and toxic gas, Russia's largest gay nightclub, Central Station, has finally closed its doors for good.
The club management surrendered to a spate of harassment in late February, after a group of men allegedly blocked the front gates, preventing patrons from entering the building safely, according to staff members who were on the scene. The well-known club was widely considered a haven and a symbol of freedom for the country's besieged LGBT community.
"All was [taken] by our enemies," lamented former club dancer Alexander Moskalets. "It's all gone."
"They really stopped the normal work of our club," said a manager, who asked that his name not be used out of safety concerns.
"Of course, I'm sad," he added, "but I was ready for this situation."
Prior to the shutdown, "Nightline" aired a special report on the Moscow nightclub after a months-long investigation into the business's effort to survive. "Nightline" traveled to Russia amid evidence of escalating violence against the LGBT community there following the passage the Kremlin's controversial "anti-gay propaganda" law.

Obviously, Russian homosexuals have not yet secured the sympathy of their most powerful allies: straight women.
Now they need to burn the building, to kill any residual pathogens.
But they will argue, however perverse, that it is normal for them - you are just too "heteronormative" - and STIs are a result of "unsafe sex" (any sex that will send you to Hell is), and point out the STI rate among heterosexuals and adultery, and with overpopulation then homosexuality is an evolutionary adaption. And even animals do it, so how "natural can you get?" Thus they can also justify having their mate for dinner as well.
Without a proven beneficial transcendent material moral standard then man's objectively baseless reasoning can justify anything. Of course, it is imperative that standard be worthy of being so, and this country had its Constitution and a moral foundation that owes more to the Bible than any other book. Something about our Constitution being made only for a moral and religious people.

You mean the main cause behind half a million American's death, and for 79% of new HIV cases today. And the estimated lifetime cost of treatment for one person with HIV is $379,668 (in 2010 dollars). What if any other consensual act typically resulted in such a greatly increased incidence of infectious diseases and premature death. Would it be promoted as normative and the practitioners be given equal and special rights?
