Here Are The States That Are Most Likely To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse

There's some debate about how to survive the Zombie Apocalypse. Some say science will save us all, some will rely on math, and still others are banking on specialty gadgets. You can buy Zombie Apocalypse survival kits, and there are even Zombie Apocalypse maps that pinpoint where the danger zones would be in a zombie-mergency.
But the geniuses at Estately have crunched the numbers and determined which U.S. states are the best prepared for any zombie-related disasters in the near future based on 11 metrics, from residents' physical ability to weapons access.
Estately zombie apocalypse states ranking Estately
We weren't kidding when we said Estately crunched the numbers for all sorts of zombie-busting factors. Here's what the company looked at for each state:

Georgia is #48 for "knowledge of zombies"? And the criteria is Facebook favorites of shows that were filmed in Georgia. Nice.
The other night at a church function I was listening to two guys discussing The Walking Dead. One of them is an air marshal and the other an astronaut. I think we'll be okay.

Them boys doing the survey need to watch that old movie "Southern Comfort", could be a documentary of sorts.

Yeah, I don't get that, either. For that matter, Kentucky is #1 and Idaho is #12 for gun ownership? Yeah, Kentuckians love their guns...I should know, it's my homestate...but having lived there and in my adopted home state of Idaho, I can safely speculate there are a helluva lot more guns per capita here than there. Hell, there's nowhere to
shoot in many Kentucky counties, unless you own land or have a buddy that does. The entire state of Idaho is a place to shoot.

Well, once again us in Alabama have to say “thank God for Mississippi”.
But really, I can’t believe that population density wasn’t at least taken into consideration. I mean, when the Zombi.....I mean miscreants’ attack I would think they would go where the most food....I mean most potential victims would be.
Being a Zombie...um, human predator is a lot like fishing. Ya gotta fish where the fish are. Therefore...Large population centers would, of course, be the first to fall. Then the Zombies, excuse me, thugs(?) would spread out from there. It’s just common sense really.

Here is the list: (1) Alaska. Sparsely populated (less zombie food), cold (slows them down), and well armed. (2) Texas. Armed out the wazoo.I couldn't agree more.

No sure how accurate this is because depending on where in New Mexico you are water can and is often a BIG problem.

Here is my daughter at eleven years old shooting a Glock 27 (.40S&W).
I think she shot her first "big boy" calibers at ten and .22LR at seven.
Hard to believe she will graduate from NY Polytech as an Engineer next year.

I live about a half mile from the Chama river, and I drilled my well during a prolonged dry spell, making sure it went 15 additional feet after hitting water. So far it hasn’t gone dry, but I keep my fingers crossed. Water shouldn’t be a problem during the coming dystopia.

End of discussion. Too bad that Texas is the Republican-party of the states: all talk and no action, living off of reputation that is now pretty well undeserved. (Hint: Look at their gun-laws, there's no open carry.)
