Tiny bits of it aren't - the idea that Michelle was first proud of her country when she assumed the imperial throne. The idea that she considers herself a survivor of intolerable oppression as she's knocking back the caviar. The rest, oh, my yes, the most biting form of satire because it's so close to the truth.
