U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder strongly hinted on Thursday that the government will soon determine if George Zimmerman will face federal civil rights charges in the 2012 killing of Trayvon Martin.
A self-appointed neighborhood watch patrolman, Zimmerman was acquitted by a Florida jury of murder charges last year and soon thereafter the federal government announced that the Justice Department would be probing the case for any civil rights violations that might have occurred.
The 17-year-old Martin was unarmed and just steps away from the doorsteps of his father's gated community home when Zimmerman ignored a police dispatcher's stern advice to cease with following the teen, whom he later admitted he thought looked suspicious because he was wearing a hoodie.
"We are still in the process of doing the kinds of investigative things and analysis that are necessary before we can make the determination," Holder told MyNews13.com. "So that matter's ongoing."
In a video released just last week, Zimmerman claimed he now wants to attend law school and perhaps become a civil right attorney, even though since being acquitted he's and several run-ins with police, including being arrested on domestic violence charges.
Think George Zimmerman should face civil right charges? "Tell us @SportsWN"

I wonder if this will be argued on the facts or some social justice bullshit that is spewed by that nagger that is on PMSNBC at six o’clock.
I almost wish he was that stupid.
*******************************************
Well, he IS actually pretty stupid. I guess he wants Obama’s approval ratings to sink down into the 20s.
Stern advice? That’s a new interpretation. Do dispatchers have a whole spectrum of advice from mild to stern to really, really stern?
BTW, based on the court evidence and Trayvon’s supposed girl friend’s statement on the Piers Morgan show, it was Trayvon who ultimately stalked and confronted Zimmerman.
So apparently a police dispatcher’s stern advice (which wasn’t stern, nor was it a cease order) is advice that MUST be taken, or you will face federal persecution from Mr. Eric the Black.
Bingo - this is all about the election and turning out the base. Of course, Putin could put a damper on turn out if-when he moves on Ukraine. If Obama attempts to get aggressive with Putin, the left won’t turn out.
And the most politically connected. His first appointment within the Department of justice was by Republicans , albeit NYC GOPers, during the Reagan Administration. He is truly a consigliere and represents K Street and Wall Street to the Mahdi while pimping race hatred. He is a truly sinister man. Just watch his very quiet composed iciness when he is not speaking. He is like some minion of Satan watching and waiting to do his master's bidding.
The victims down in Victimville are *still* beating this “unarmed” nonsense to death!
Geez, how about the babies killed or left brain damaged because they were violently shaken by their inconvenienced sperm donor or mommy’s deadbeat boyfriend? Unarmed, all!
I wonder if we could persuade some of the feral yootes in the DC area to ‘flashmob’ the chief criminal Holder?
Everything I read and saw from legal expert types during and immediately after the Zimmerman trial is that a Civil Rights trial would be a non-starter even if Zimmerman had been convicted during the murder/manslaughter trial.
So, if Holder does pursue this route, I don’t see it accomplishing anything but maybe keeping a few political promises to “seek justice” on behalf of Martin.
Of course, I am not an attorney, and I have been wrong before...
Maybe pass a rumor(?) that he’s got plenty of gibsmedat but is greedily hoarding it for himself.
I had to stop reading this; the deluge of falsehoods (LIES) was simply too much!!
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.

Did Teddy Kennedy, with all his obvious advantages, ever pass?
This story came from Sports World News??? I didn’t know what Zimmerman did was considered sport??
We're ready to ship to our retail outlets in the 'hoods as soon as Eric speaks! St. Trayvon Memorabilia is poised, poised I tell you, to take off!
BTW, KelTec has also picked up on the trend and wants us to turn out their line of Zimmerman Patrol Gear. It's a natural for them, as it was among the few times a KelTec has been fired that it did not injure its owner. Since it's unclear who pulled the trigger, there may be some crossover sales opportunities here.
Remember McVeigh?
On June 13, 1997, the jury recommended that McVeigh receive the death penalty.
One of his appeals for certiorari, taken to the Supreme Court of the United States, was denied on March 8, 1999.
McVeigh was executed by lethal injection at 7:14 a.m. on June 11, 2001.
That was pretty damn fast considering that:
The time between sentencing and execution has increased relatively steadily between 1977 and 2010, including a 22% jump between 1989 and 1990 and a similar jump between 2008 and 2009. In 2010, a death row inmate waited an average of 178 months (or close to 15 years) between sentencing and execution.
Given that the government's respect of due process has continually waned, and is now virtually nonexistent, I would not put it past them that they would rush this into production
.
Fast & Furious — State Sponsored Terrorism, and the easiest Treason case to convict on in the past 70 years.
I’ll give you that, Ted Kennedy was no genius either, except when it came to changing the racial composition of the country for the worse via the Immigration Act of 1965 and drinking and driving.
I wonder how PC this trial will be. For the criminal trial, apparently it was “racist” for GZ’s attorney to bring into evidence TM’s watermelon drink (they called it “tea”), because “watermelon” + “black” = “racist”. The type of drink he had is what’s used in making that concoction to get stoned.
I wonder if GZ’s attorney will be allowed to mention that Skittles are used in making the concoction to get stoned, combined with the watermelon drink — something TM posted he was planning to do.
TM’s apologists whine that he was “just buying iced tea and candy”. No; he wasn’t. He was buying ingredients for a drug.
I wonder if GZ’s attorney will be allowed to mention TM’s online post about making that concoction.
