"I should mention that one of the things I considered important on my iPad was the storage space that I got. I got 64 GB. Next time around, I’m getting 128 GB."

I'm seriously considering just going with a tablet that accepts sim cards for my next unit. Then I essentially have unlimited storage space. The only thing holding me back is the investment I've made in Apple media such as movies and television shows which I essentially forfeit if I go with another brand of tablet. But for that I'd go with the Samsung in a heartbeat.

I don’t think - for the majority of users - it’s important to go beyond 128 GB. But if so, I would start looking at cloud storage. There are some good options there.

But, there’s also another option for carrying around a HUMONGOUS AMOUNT OF DATA, and that’s to get a WiFi hard drive (of humongous size) and have that with you. I’ve looked at those and it’s a cool idea.

I'm assuming you meant SD cards above.

Good luck. Last time I poked around, it looked like even Android was getting ready to eliminate support for SD cards.
