Judge Joe Brown is now on the other side of the law.
The former TV judge was arrested for contempt of court in Memphis, Tenn., according to TMZ.
Brown was there to represent someone in a child custody case, but allegedly became enraged after being told they had no record of the case.
Brown reportedly became verbally abusive with the judge and ignored his order to quiet down. The TV judge was cited five times for contempt of court and ordered to spend five days in jail.
But no contempt for high officials of the IRS who use their authority like weapon.
idiot.
He should know better. courts are incompetent and corrupt. How can they have no knowledge of a case pending in their own court. Can’t call him racist so they hold him in contempt.
Now, that’s funny, right there. I don’t are who ya are.
Ok... I’m confused....
Why would he show up in court if there was no case....?
The court system sets up the cases to be heard on the docket for that day....
It’s a published document....
I find hard to believe the TV judge just showed up willy nilly....
Shame on you Judge Joe Brown!
If’n dah man says theyes no cases foh his cort das day, den der is no cases ... so shut up yo mouf and sits yosef down or else’n yo be contemptable.
UTES ?
You can’t arrest me! I’m on TV!
Go away....
“The TV judge was cited five times for contempt of court and ordered to spend five days in jail.”
Only five days?
That was stupid of him. Rule #1: In the courtroom, remember that the judge is God. Don’t make God unhappy.
” but allegedly became enraged after being told they had no record of the case..”
Admittedly ignorant on court proceedings here.
-How does a lawyer show up to the courthouse thinking he has a case to handle and the court have no idea of the case?
-If there is no case to be called in front of a judge how does one get recognized by the court to make a statement about it?
Genuinely curious.
Joe needs to take his own advice and “Man Up”!!
