Yikes! It’s unfortunate that he felt this was needed. However, if he must, absolutely must do this ‘procedure’, he would be better off going plain, with far less pancake make-up, zero fire engine lipstick. The present effect is clownish or ghoulish or kabuki-like without meaning to be. When I see him as his ‘true self’, I think of Dee Snider, of Twisted Sister, singing “We’re Not Gonna Take It!” And the students are not going to be allowed to react to this unless it’s supportive? Another way our kids are learning that some lies are expected, okay and mandatory.
