I don’t agree with the death penalty simply for a different political belief.

According to the article, the charges include murder and mayhem.

Nor do I. If you read the second line of the story, you'll see that the Egyptian courts didn't pass the sentences for political beliefs — they passed them for actions.

“A court in Egypt has sentenced to death 528 supporters of ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi.

They were convicted of charges including murdering a policeman and attacks on people and property.”

If only the BBC and its allies wrote similar headlines concerning the killing of Christians.

You gotta pay closer attention. No one’s getting hung for a political belief. These are the dirt bags involved in ordering/ shooting-to-kill un-armed street protesters. That’s worth the death penalty anytime/anywhere and it speaks to the lack of arms of the population that they’d lived to go to trial. The folks , Being armed to the teeth in this country does indeed keep the gummint brown shirts minding their manners. There would most likely never be a trial here if some dumbass gave the order to shoot peaceful, un-armed protesters.

That is not relevant. They were given the death penalty for murder, treachery, and other crimes.

I agree. This was a show trial only. The trial lasted one day for 147 defendants (the rest were convicted in absentia) with the second day for sentencing.

When their political belief includes enslaving the entire world, and they are actively working towards that goal, I’m fine with their removal from the scene.
