"water expands as it warms" then realized the article was a lie. Why? I realize that the statement isn't always true, but I believe it is true for most temperatures.

Water turn to steam if expanded. Water frozen expands but only in appearance for once melted returns to normal state. Simple experiment Example ... Fill a glass with water. Add ice to rim of glass to rim. Walk away. Ice melts but will not overflow the glass.
