With Bernanke gone, the remaining Fed members knowing full well they will be crucified, metaphorically of course (if not literally) when it all inevitably comes crashing down, are finally at liberty with their words... and the truth is bleeding out courtesy of the president of the Dallas Fed, via Bloomberg.

It’s a price increase however you slice it. I prefer the vendor be forthright about it by charging more for the same amount.
>>Adolf Hitlers national Socialist government ran almost the same way. A few choice businesses were given special protection by the government, and they profited massively. Meanwhile, the rest of society became tyrannical.
At least the Nazis picked businesses that would benefit German society. The Obamunists intentionally pick businesses that can’t succeed or are hopelessly corrupt, and are usually both.
I thought the same thing. I thought TARP was a disaster, it should never have been allowed. I read that members of Congress have portfolios that do “incredibly better-than-average.” I think that helps explain TARP. Wall Street insider traders have nothing on these guys.
I thought farms were selling really fast. How’s the real estate market for farms in Wisconsin?
If you think that, take communion; the Host is tissue paper thin.
I’d like to, but I can’t. I’m a sinner.
Haha no thanks. Wisconsin is about as far away from my idea of paradise as you can get.

True, but there is this concept called competition.....!
Any given type of item can be supplied by several different manufacturers.... Nobody wants to be the most expensive to buy....
Brand loyalty does come into play, but cost is now the primary motivator when consumers make a buying decision...because my customers (retailers) take the hit on profits before they pass on the increase... It also means a sales decline when customers face the sticker shock...
Believe me, a price increase is just about the last thing I want to hear from a manufacture....
where is it at how many acres and buildings
I have not bought crackers in forever it seems (don’t do a lot of empty carbs), but the other day I wandered through the cracker/snack isle and was amazed at the miniature boxes of Wheat Thins. In reality, they are probably the same size that they were 20 years ago, but it just seems so odd to have them shrink when they were getting bigger and bigger for so long. For years it has been “Family Size” and “Value Size”... now, not so much. Have noticed the same thing with ice cream cartons. I don’t buy it very often, so when I do, I really notice the difference.
Do you truly not understand that it is a price increase?
>>When the crash comes itll be our turn - the middle class - to finally do our part... Pay for the whole mess.<<
We’re already paying for it. Before, during and after the crash.
>>If the oatmeal cookies I purchase get any thinner, theyll look like communion wafers!!<<
Ok...you win! That’s the funniest damn post I’ve read in quite a while.

Well, golly gee wiz, you mean if I pay the same price for a smaller version I am getting less value?
Rolling eyes .....
Technically it isn’t a price increase since I am paying the same price, I’m getting less value for the value of my labor which represents inflation....
But pay me no mind.....
Sure, I get it. We live in a low info world. That’s why we have Zero in the white house and 59 oz containers of OJ in the market and a host of other absurdities and abominations.
Gotta run. The Kardashians are coming on...
