So when did we pass a law that says the president can give our money to another country so that that country can aid yet a third country?
We are so screwed……….
Think of it as an honorarium. Blair doesn’t get anything from it. Don’t know if the charity blows it all on advertising and society balls, or does something useful, but the money was given probably more as a favor than a bribe.
Still sorta sucks, and is symbolic of how bigger amounts are doled on based on crony connections.
