I can’t help but feel that evil is exploding in this world.

I think that evil has always been here and there is no increase as a percentage of the population today. We just have more people now and the total expression is greater.

True enough. Even in the bible cities are generally described as places where evil and vice had found a home.

My grandmother lived in Detroit for a few months as a child in the 20s or 30s. Even then she said the playground they played in was a concrete pad in a chain link cage.

One thing.....it used to be that deviancy was shameful and now it’s celebrated and it seems that attention grabbers, including so many celebrities desiring influence and fame, just expand and glorify the deviant behavior.

The story of the 2 lesbians starving 3 kids in California - 2 of the kids were adopted. Would lesbians even be allowed to adopt in the past? Child porn - it all over the place. Verizon has refused to censor it from their system. And on and on.

To me, Ignoring God’s laws has proven to be a great cost to our society. Lines are crossed and we all end up paying the price. I always told my kids “everything is not ok”. Problem is today if the lawyers get away with arguing that something is ok - or not - then most people accept it.

There are times that I don’t want to read the news but burying my head in the sand isn’t a solution, unfortunately.
