where I supposedly majored in chemistry but actually majored in college radio. As music director, I managed to hear everything that was released, both good and bad. I was in ROTC, which put me outside the college social scene. The hippies, whom I ordinarily admired, were hogging all the sex, something for which I’ve never forgiven them.
