Strategically, there wouldn’t be any better time to do it than right now, while the Kiev Gov is still in chaos, and Obama is still clueless. After that, it’s just whining about spilled milk.
What are the West going to do? Sanction a few people again? The US just can’t do that much to Russia, unless they are willing to bail out Soros and Citibank when Russia sanctions back. And the EU is terrified to strain relations with their largest trading partner.

CNN can’t read the inscrutable mind of Vlad Putin and the Kremlin oligarchy. CNN also has no clue about the rebirth of Christian Russian. Since the USA is a declared post Christian nation it matters not to CNN what Christianity does anywhere else. The tide of history is with Christianity. Always has been, always will be. Pro islamists are doomed to relearn history again and again - like in Groundhog day the movie.
