Anyone out there still think we will see a Republican president in my lifetime?
Not if the Republican Party has anything to say/do about it.
You may very well see another president from the wreckage of the Republican party but you will never see another Ronald Reagan or Dwight Eisenhower. The current GOP puts forth candidates who would have been soundly rejected as radicals too far left for the Democrats a few decades back.
