Here’s the problem. Before Obamacare, you could choose from a wide range of policy options, deductibles, types of coverage to try and get something that worked for you and was affordable. NOW, it’s one size fits all, every plan must cover things like pediatric dental, Ob , drug and alcohol rehab AND no lifetime caps. Your option range is basically your premium and your deductible. That’s it. No surprise people are finding this crappy program a nightmare.

Yeah ... as soon as the insurance companies can no longer “cherry pick” the population for the “best risks” and they have to include everyone - that’s what you’re going to get.

If you want to go back to the old pricing and the “affordable policies” — you’ll have to let the insurance companies “cherry pick” the population for the best risks, exclude for pre-existing conditions, have “caps” on your policy and have a large segment of the population permanently never able to get insurance.

But, from what I hear ... people like not having pre-existing conditions be a factor, they like not being excluded, they like not having caps — BUT — they don’t like the price ... LOL ...

I’ve been around long enough that I know what have been the complaints from people, in general, about health care and the ability to get it. Those are things that people talked about - long before Obamacare came around.
