If Ukraine does anything as a military response then Putin has his excuse to annex all of Ukraine.
I honestly don’t think Putin wants them.

Turkey is threatening to close the Straits of Bosphorus. That has to have Putin saying, “Oh, pleeeease!” Can you imagine how happy he’d be to own Constantinople (a.k.a. Istanbul, a.k.a., the city that surrounds the Straits of Bosphorus, a.k.a. soon, Constantinograd.)
