If Bevin is no more competition than what Cornyn had, them Mitch is a shoe-in.
You can not drag in some underfunded unknown in the last minute and beat well established and heavy funded incumbents.

Another scary phenomenon I saw was that there are those who I thought were good conservatives supporting RINOs in fear of losing the seat to the dims. Cowardly approach that would have disgusted Reagan.
