He wanted "revenge" on a lot of people including the Jews, Russians, etc. Are you suggesting that his actions were justified?
Of course not....I was merely countering what some, like Pat Buchanan have said suggesting that the Nazis weren’t interested in Western Europe, but he was only forced into it because of their belligerence.
He wanted France, period.
