I’m not aviation expert, but it’s my impression that on airplanes the pointy end generally is in the front. So as far as the direction of travel, you can probably take it from there...

Thanks for nothing. Is that heading north, south, east?? My point is that if we know the approximate time of day and the direction toward the sun we should be able to determine the direction of flight.

By the way, I am a retired AF pilot....
