NO CONCEALED WEAPONS ALLOWED. If you are such a loser that you feel a need to carry a gun with you when you go out, I do not want your business. Douchebag.
Thats the message Backstreets Pub & Deli recently sent to gun owners with a sign posted in its store window. The backlash against the establishment, located in Clemson, S.C., was swift after the conservative website Twitchy posted several photos of the sign from Twitter.
The Washington Times reports that the pub has a one-star rating out of five on Yelp.com, with pages upon pages of negative comments and reviews by Second Amendment supporters.

In that picture it lơks mightily like it is inside the glass so it wasn't stuck up in a walk-by prank.

“Douchebag” - the liberal’s favorite juvenile attempt at an insult; only revealing the middle school emotional aptitude of the user with this low life cliche.

And unlike certain whining gays, gun owners are simply going to take their business elsewhere.

How convenient for the next perp who wants to hold up the joint. That's exactly what I was thinking. I'd like to say that if he does get held up at gunpoint he deserves it, but I don't want for anyone to get held up.

The stuff on their FB is funny, but evidently the owner keeps deleting comments. What a chicken - won’t even leave comments up that he basically invited.

I feel sorry for the guy. I give him 5 stars for being passionate about his business. It’s probably a decent place. But he’s not very wise or thoughtful. Zero stars for that so a 2.5 overall.
I would like to tell him and all anti-2nd Amendment thinkers:
If someone is willing to break the law and murder you do you really think they would be willing to obey the law and not use a gun?
The only purpose of anti-gun laws is to disarm law-abiding citizens -the intended victims of violent criminals.
As history and crime statistics have shown anti-gun laws and ‘gun free zones’ dramatically increase the probability of shootings because the murderers know their intended victims are not armed.

The second part, of course, is answering their question of "why does anyone need an 'assault weapon' or a high-capacity magazine? with "the same reason the police need them."
I usually say, it's a Bill of Rights, not a bill of needs. Although, both our retorts work well.

“not sure if sc also has open carry. some places only have concealed.”
SC does not allow open carry. Just like IL and NY (and TX and FL).
