Carter was ingenuous, sanctimonious and stubborn. Obama is malicious, capricious and perhaps borderline psychotic. It is the difference between Claudius and Nero in a rough analogy.
I thank Carter for a lot. I was young and not much interested in politics when he was president. I remember his remarks that America has seen its best years, etc., and how depressing his years were. When Reagan took over and I saw his leadership and optimism I became interested in politics, and the 1st time I voted was his 2nd election.
