How is this any different than when the USA made Hawaii and Alaska a state? For that matter, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, etc. etc........Crimea is a non story.
The way we “acquired” Hawaii was shameful.
We bought Alaska from the Russkies. What legitimate right they had to own or sell it is of course an interesting question.
