I could almost buy that, even if I disagreed with the strategy, except that I have come to believe that McConnell, Boehner and the GOPe do not want to overturn Obamacare or his massive spending or any of his assaults on the American people. His attacks on the tea party and misinformation tell me that he is just another Arlen Spector/Jim Jeffords. In fact, if Bevin beats him, I would not be surprised if he, like Crist and Spector, switches sides. Given that, having him in charge is worse than not having him at all. Would you want 52 Republicans to vote, say, Mark Pryor as leader? If not, then you don’t want Mitchey-boy either.
Absolutely correct. Reasonable observation shows that while most people are against OCare, the GOPe is refusing to campaign on it. Overwhelming evidence is that if the entire GOP ran on nothing but the evils of Ocare, they would cream the Dems all over the place in Nov. They are quietly and carefully avoiding doing that. They want to win AND keep Ocare. Because Ocare is POWER over we, the great unwashed.
