Irsay (just like his Dad) is pretty widely known in the community as a doper.
My guess is he’s had a number of free passes and the cops finally decided to take him off the streets.

Nancy Irsay, his dad's widow got popped for a DUI also. In Carmel, where she lives. She refused field tests and a breathalyzer and lost her license for 1 year.

All of her money and the best lawyers in Indy couldn't get her out of it.
