I’m not sure about saturation patrol, but he was pulled over on a street going into one of the priciest subdivisions (Village of Clay Terrace) in the priciest suburb (Carmel) of town.
Occassionally in my town, motorcycle cops go up on the sidewalk and hide behind bushes to radar gun people. They do this not where speeding is a problem, and certainly not where accidents have been a problem. Ins tewd they do this in a corridor between the shopping area and high end housing.
Why?
Because rich people pay their fines. Police work is now 2/3 revenue generation....and concentrating in wealthy areas is ubiquitous.
Oh yeah...rich people typically aren’t violent with the police....another bonus.
