You either hold all 3 branches with a filibuster proof majority in the Senate or you have no real power.
It is that simple.
All that comes to mind when I think of the upcoming election, is Obama and the Dems using incredibly divisive tactics to turn out blacks, hispanics, women and gays.
They already are trying and the news media (aka dem media) will be in full swing on this well before the election.
