Barack Obama’s presidency will come to an end. The legacy of pain he will leave behind will not -- at least for years to come. He and his fellow Democrats plan to keep their grip on the levers of power-even if they lose control of Congress and the White House. And they will do so with “invisible hands” gone but not forgotten.
Every first-term president has a single compelling desire: to win a second term. But for Obama and his liberal allies to accomplish a second major goal, to “fundamentally transform America,” requires more than two terms. Their agenda depends on fundamentally transforming our government and how its vast powers will be deployed.
How was this done?
The trillion-dollar so called “stimulus” bill was the first major step to vastly increase our spending and deficits. It was a sign of things to come. Budget-breaking binges have followed with no serious efforts to control our massive federal debt. The Democrats have run up more red ink than all previous administrations combined.
The entitlement crisis has been a crisis that has not been allowed to go to waste. Under Obama’s feeble economy and sputtering “recovery” (the weakest in modern history), spending on welfare, food stamps, and disability payments have soared. Hooking people onto the government IV line is an excellent way to increase dependency and the number of future dependable Democrats. It is also an excellent way to bankrupt America.

Lots of gloom and doom here, but we survived Clinton. It may be painful, but I think we can survive Obama, and even come out stronger in the long run.
Constitutional Convention? No way, absolutely not. I don't trust the crew in there one bit. Nada. Let's try something radical first - let's try making our government obey the Constitution for a couple of decades before we decide we want to change it.
To turn this around will take brave patriots who will stand against the left and the leftist in the Republican Party. Those who want to go along to get along need to leave it to those willing to fight for our freedoms, our children and our faith. The Boehners, McConnells, Roves, McCains and Graham's,.....who do exactly what the left wants, need to go so the younger and TRUE conservatives can fight the battle. We first have to clean our house to take down the lefts house. Also remember, we have the one true God on our side.
When someone is coming for your kids, you fight to the death. They are coming for them and we cannot give up! This a political, cultural and spiritual fight. We need to rally the troops around us with the truth, righteousness (which means fighting for what is right and that is definitely not what has been going on for the last five years-remember Jesus turned over the tables with righteous anger), the spirit of God will lead us and we must have faith that God is with us in this fight, always knowing that whatever happens we have salvation through Christ (if you don't know where you will go when you die, just ask.
I know this sounds preachy, but if you can't see the spiritual side of this, you don't understand why it's so important for the left to culturally destroy our nation, focusing first on our children. Abortion, homosexuality, call good evil and evil good......Wake up church and get spiritually armed for the battle! We must first start with prayer. A simple prayer in faith is heard by God.
I ran for local politics...I’m tired of complaining, peacefully assembling while being called every name in the book and being demonized for honest, hard work and paying my taxes.
We have to start somewhere and if each of us runs locally there is a chance to peacefully take back this country, otherwise, there is no peaceful solution and either way I refuse to be a slave.

I agree with you...but IMHO....POTUS Obama from day one set out to, not only transform America...but destroy it as a meaningful nation worldwide. He hates America in both heart & soul....just as his father hated the British empire!!! It is as simple as that. Obama is against freedom, liberty, individual accomplishment, opportunity. Best word to describe Obama is twofold.....Dictator & Tyrant combined!!!

The effects will indeed be long-lasting.
An eviscerated military, which the next Ronald Reagan will be unable to rebuild because his hands and feet will be tied with massive debt service. All quite deliberate.
Huge numbers of welfare clients sucking on food stamps, SSI, Obamaphones, etc. etc. etc. that even Conservatives in Congress dare not cut off for fear of massive civil unrest.
An emboldened permanent bureaucracy which will run amok at an even faster pace regulating us to death as their elected overseers stand by helplessly.

Anybody that refers to Article-V as a "con-con" or "Constitutional Convention" either knows little to nothing about what Article-V or "COS" really means, or is purposely trying to thwart patriots trying to repair the gates so that the enemy from within can be expelled. Under THIS Constitution, there has ONLY ever been one con-con, and under THIS Constitution, that happened in 1789. Period.
Article-V circumvents the federals - they are largely out of the process - and is a states-rights mechanism to right the wrongs of "national" government.

Not the problem at all. You are not thinking big enough.
The real problem is that there are federal entities who have taken over the power reserved to the States.
The states are individually autonomous save discrete functions that, for various reasons, they have agreed to allow a central or federal entity to perform, like defense.
Caps are important here: THE FEDERAL GOVT HAS NO POWER UNLESS GIVEN TO IT BY THE STATES.
38 STATES acting together, not the federal govt, control all power in this country. With 38 states, they can fire POTUS, dismiss Congress, even do away with Supreme Court.
That's not what he's talking about, pay attention.
